BURNS NIGHT 2026
AT THE MARCLIFFE
Some nights are enjoyable. Others feel like they belong to a place.
Burns Night 2026 at The Marcliffe was exactly that. A room full of people who came ready to celebrate, and left knowing they had been part of something Aberdeen does not get to experience every day.
For the third year in a row, Luxe Scot Events returned to one of the city’s most iconic settings and brought Burns Night to life with confidence, style, and just the right amount of mischief.

A Start Nobody Saw Coming
Before the evening had even begun, our guests were already somewhere they did not expect.
They were welcomed with exclusive access to The Skylark for the drinks reception, before the brasserie had even opened to the public.
A private moment in a prestigious setting, with the kind of atmosphere you normally only see from the outside.
It set the tone instantly.
Guests arrived expecting a brilliant Burns Night. They found themselves stepping into something that already felt elevated. And that was just the beginning.
The Ballroom, Reimagined
From there, the night moved into The Marcliffe ballroom, transformed with production that gave the room a real sense of theatre.
The centrepiece was a ten metre video wall, bringing scale and energy that felt bold, modern, and completely unexpected for a Burns Night in Aberdeen.
Not for attention. For impact.
The kind of detail that shifts the mood of a room before the first toast is even raised.
A MODERN TAKE ON TRADITION
The magic of this Burns Night was in what we kept, and what we left behind.
There was no heads or tails. No money in the envelope. No tired pauses where tradition is expected to carry the night on its own.
Instead, everything flowed. Great entertainment, beautifully paced. Great food with a twist. A room that stayed lively, engaged, and completely in it.
Special Guest,
Big Energy
Tony Bellew joined us as special guest and brought exactly what the moment needed. Presence, humour, and the kind of confidence that lifts the room without ever taking it away from the guests.
It felt effortless. Warm. Properly enjoyable.

The Dram Done Properly
A night like this deserves a whisky with character, and Benromach delivered.
A dram that felt considered, not added on. One of those small details that quietly confirms you are in the right place, on the right night, with the right people.
The Moment The
Room Took Over
Then came the part nobody could have planned, and everyone will remember.
The Marcliffe ballroom was bouncing, and when 500 Miles started, it was one of those moments where the room simply decides
Singing. Smiling. Tables turning into dance floors.
And then, the conga train. All the way around the entire room.
It was not staged. It was not forced. It was joy, shared in real time, in a place that rarely sees a night like it.

A Goodbye That Felt Like
Luxe Scot
Even the final moments mattered.
As guests made their way home, they were handed a parting gift that was pure Scotland. A warm buttery, Taylors haggis crisps, Deans shortbread, and a can of Irn Bru.
Comfort, class, and a smile in a bag. The perfect last note.
Burns Night at The Marcliffe is now a Luxe Scot Events tradition, but no two years will ever feel the same. We bring the setting. We bring the detail. We bring the moments people talk about long after the final song.
When you know the difference. you choose it!
