Description:

The morning began with a tranquil journey from the hotel to Castle Fraser, a majestic 16th century castle nestled amidst lush greenery. As we approached the castle, the sun was just beginning to rise, casting a warm glow over the ancient stone walls. The dew on the grass sparkled like diamonds in the light, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers.

Stepping inside the castle, we were transported back in time to an era of grandeur and opulence. The grand halls were adorned with tapestries and paintings, and the intricate woodwork and carvings were a marvel to behold. We explored the various rooms, each with its own unique character and history, and couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe at the grandeur of it all.

After spending some time at the Castle, we made our way to Bennachie, which is located a short distance away. Bennachie is a range of hills in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The hill range offers great scenery, walking trails, and historical sites. The area is rich in wildlife and the views from the top are stunning.

We spent the afternoon exploring the hills, walking along the trails, and taking in the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We also visited some of the historical sites, such as the Mither Tap, an Iron Age hillfort, which offered an insight into the area’s rich history.

Our evening starts with a delicious dinner at the Hilton Teca Aberdeen hotel. The hotel has a great location and offers a sophisticated dining experience, with a menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As we sat in the restaurant, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the wonderful day we had had, and for the memories we had created.

Finally, we head to Balmedie beach to watch the sunset. The beach was a stunning sight, with miles of golden sand, crystal clear waters and a serene atmosphere. We sat on the beach and watched as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with a breathtaking array of colours. It was a fitting end to a truly magical day.
